If you’ve ever wondered if you’re praying the right things or the right way or if you’ve longed for connections with other moms who long to see their daughters walk in the fullness of who God created them to be, the first ever #girlMOMS book club is for you! We’ll be reading through Teri Lynne Underwood’s book, Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most, and discussing why each area is significant not just for our daughters but also for us.
WHO? All girl moms are invited! Whether your daughter is 8 months, 8 years, or has an 8 year old of her own, you are welcome to join us as we pray for these girls we love.
WHAT? All you need is the book, Praying for the Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most. It’s currently available on Amazon for around $8 or you can get it at your local LifeWay or Barnes & Noble.
WHEN? We’ll kick off the discussion on July 16 and wrap up on August 20.
WHERE? Sign up on the form below to receive all the details and bonus encouragement. And as we get closer to kick off day, you’ll be added to a closed Facebook group where we’ll have weekly videos and daily discussion threads.
WHY? We need each other! The encouragement and support we can offer each other as moms is priceless. We need to hear from moms with more experience to help us know we’ll make it and we need to be reminded by moms with littles how exhausting it can be and how much our words to each other can be a blessing. But most of all, we need to pray together for our daughters to know and walk in the fullness of who God has created them to be!
