Over the years I have longed for a mentor.
While it is true I have had seasons where key women spoke into my life, much of the time I have found those voices missing.

Often, God would bring peer mentors—women in the same stage of life as I was in to encourage me.

Other times, I found mentors through books or messages from women I admired who were not near me in proximity.

God has a way of providing what we need even if it looks a bit different than what we had hoped for.

At the same time, I’m trying to be intentional and available to women who are a little “younger” (NOT always in age, but stage, and walk with the Lord) than I am to encourage their hearts. The best part is that I am encouraged right along with them when I do that very thing.

Maybe you can relate. I’m guessing I’m not the only one.

One way I’m positioning myself as a learner and a leaders is by participating in the Enjoy God’s Word Online Bible Conference next week. This conference is PACKED with wise women who have a passion to share TRUTH from God’s Word.
