As moms, we are faced with the challenge of helping our girls stand firm in the implications of who they are in Christ. In order to that, we need to constantly remind them of those truths.
They are created in his image, and that is where beauty lies.
Wisdom comes from God alone, and in Christ, we are granted the mind of a believer transformed by truth.
God calls and equips us for our roles and professions. Because Christ died and did the work of living a holy life for us, we can work in a way that honors him. When he receives glory, those who abide in him, can take part in that joy.
In Christ, we have every spiritual blessing. He clothes and feeds his children. He provides for our needs and often far beyond. Our security is in something far sturdier than money, it is in the hands of the Creator of the universe, because we are in Christ.
We are able to have an intimate relationship with God, because we are in Christ. While marriage or singleness each have their own blessings, in Christ, we are able to experience the fullness of a deep a meaningful relationship with God.
Because we are in Christ, we are able to be weak, for his power is perfected in our weakness. We are able to be gentle, because he fights for us. As those found in Christ, we are able to live freely in the personality he has given us, using our strengths and weaknesses for his purposes and for his glory.
When the world tells our girls who to be….let’s be the ones telling them who they really are.
