Today is the official release day of the For Girls Like You Devotional for Tweens!!!!
I am…well, I feel…mmm….ok, it really is just too much to put into words. I just may be speechless for a while…
Humbled. Grateful. Blown Away.
The truth of it is, I wrote this devotional with and for my daughters. I’m simply a grown up little girl, desperately seeking to raise my girls with a passion and heart for Jesus-because I know, first-hand, that these peculiar years between princess dresses and lipstick matter.
These years, those years and every year in between matter, a lot! Our girls need to know Jesus’ Love. His Grace and His Truth.
So let’s celebrate! My girls and I have a few special gifts we want to give your girls!

Are you a mom who is daily pouring yourself out for her family, tired, overwhelmed, and have nothing left to give? Hope for the Weary Mom is an honest look at where you find yourself living.
In their new book, Stacey Thacker and Brooke McGlothlin (creators of the online communities Mothers of Daughters and The MOB Society) lead you to the God who meets you in your mess and show you that you don’t walk through life alone. You will…
- invite God into your mess
- reconnect with His heart for you
- experience the peace and freedom of walking with Him
It’s easy to forget that God knows you by name when you’re numb with the daily grind. Join Stacey and Brooke and begin the journey from weariness to hope.
We have so many fun things planned today including special bonuses when you buy the book this week. To find out more, go here.

These books would both be a blessing!! I have three girls 13, 5 & 2. I primarily raise them myself cuz hubby is long haul truck driver. I have been tired lately, not one to usually complain but around New Years we were all sick, hubby had gone back to work (only one healthy). I was diagnosed with bronchitis as well as my baby. Then literally two days passed that baby girl was healthy then she started up again non stop coughing, went to the ER and she had pneumonia. That cleared up just last week. Now my 5yr old has pink eye. Im tired!! Im a leader of a moms (like mops)group for our church and with sports after school for my oldest i am trying to relish in the days i have nothing to do. . . . .but something always comes up.
My girls and I both need these books - weary doesn’t even begin to describe me!
I would love to win these books. I have a daughter who turns 10 in a couple of weeks and would love to read the devotional together with her. I would read these books and then share them with my friends who are in the same place or need encouragement.
Looking forward to reading both of these!!
i would love this for a mother / daughter group !!
I am wanting to get these for my daughter who has 2 small girls. She feels beaten down & just exhausted. She is struggling in many ways while trying to raise her girls in a Godly way. She could really benefit from these books. She could incorporate the girls book into her home school program.
Just shrared on Facebook! Really hope to win.
I would love an opportunity to win this book. One of our favorite times to spend together is before bed when my 9yr old daughter and I read her devotional together.
These books look incredible! I would love to devour both then pass them along…
