As a Mother of Daughters I know two things:
1. I need Jesus to show me the way.
2. We need each other to walk together.
This is why Mothers of Daughters exists.
We are modern moms, raising girls with timeless truths, walking together.
I need constant reminders to keep looking to the Lord for wisdom, strength, and grace for all the drama filled moments at my house. It is good for my heart to hear your stories, too, and to know I am not alone.
We have been working hard to bring you a blog that will do both. This new blog home has a new name, a new look, and a new posting format. We also have a few new writers. I am excited to see how God takes this place and uses it to encourage our hearts.
So what can you expect? Well the first thing is we will be posting magazine style once per month. You will be able to read it all in one day if you like. Or, if you are like me, you can open a tab on your computer or tablet and leave it there to read throughout the month. We know you are busy, so you now have the content to work through at your OWN pace.
We will be writing on a variety of topics, but most of them will be centered on Mothers, Daughters, Timeless Truth, and Together (community). We think this will help us focus our message and help you find articles more easily.
Our “magazine style blog” will launch the 2nd Tuesday of month. Then, on the 4th Tuesday of the month, we’ll send out a newsletter to our subscribers. So, when you add your email to our list, you will get only 2 emails each month. No more cluttering up you email box. We are keeping it simple, friends.
We will also hang out on our Facebook Page for daily conversation. We know you are there already, so why not chat with us, too? You can find our page over here.
This world, is crazy. For real. We need to be crazy about Jesus. We need to cheer each other on. My prayer is we point each other to Jesus and become the women our daughters want to grow up to be.

With my own two young women (relatively) launched now, I am catching my breath and reflecting on the special calling of mothering girls. Although different, the work continues and what a blessing. Looking forward to visiting the site .
I wish you had a posting about raising a special needs child to be Godly. I need help in that area.
